MSNBC has a link directly to Hillary Clinton's website. ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS and NPR are all telling the voters of Michigan that nobody on the Michigan Presidential ballot besides Hillary Clinton is still running for President. This is a flat out lie. Two other candidates on the Michigan ballot, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel, are still in the race. The news media's false information resulted in a low Democratic turnout in Michigan and substantial voter confusion, today.

In a decision that has only been paralelled by Bush v Gore in effect and loss of electin integrity, the Nevada Supreme Court overturned a lower court ruling and allowed NBC to fix the Nevada caucuses by excluding Kucinich from tonight's debate in a seeming effort to convince Nevada voters he had dropped out of the race. He has not. Will voters learn NBC is misleading them?

The actions of the news media appears to amount to election tampering. More disturbing is the silence of the Democratic National Committee, headed by Howard Dean, and by the Nevada Democratic Party. This year, the Republican Party has shown more support for the voters than the Democratic Party. The Republican Party withdrew support for a debate that excluded Ron Paul.

In 2000, the Republican Party was seen as the Party that disregarded the interests of the voters. This year, the Republican Party has worked to overturn that image. The Democratic Party, sadly, is now seen as the corporate party that pushes aside the interests of the voters when those interests conflict with the interests of media corporations.

MSNBC is owned by General Electric, which makes large profits from continued war. All the candidates on the stage at tonight's MSNBC debate brought America the Iraq war and/or its continuation. All candidates on stage tonight have spoken in support of war with Iran. All Democratic peace candidates have been excluded. Peace is not in MSNBC's interests.

The saddest part for Nevada residents is that they will not learn that all persons on the stage of the MSNBC Democratic debate in Las Vegas are responsible for the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Repository, which threatens the life of every person living in Nevada and California. John Edwards voted to override Bill Clinton's veto of a temporary nuclear dump site. Then Edwards voted with Bush to make Yucca Mountain a permanent nuclear dump site. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voted to fund the project. Scientists agree that Yucca Mountain is a disaster waiting to destroy the Southwest and possibly other regions as well. By excluding Dennis Kucinich, the only candidate to voted against Yucca Mountain and its funding, MSNBC has put in a fix for the toxic project.

Where will peace supporters turn in the general election? It probably won't be to the Democratic Party. It is yet to be seen where the peace vote will go now that the Democratic Party has done everything to throw the peace vote away.

Those voting for the first time may make a difference by disregarding the media and just voting for the candidate of their choice. In the general election, first time voters may want to look at primary debate exclusions and vote for candidates who got their nominations honestly and not through election tampering..

Copyright ©2008 by the Creative Youth News Team. We need to set up a system where we'll be able to keep in close contact with Marta and show her the apartments, etc, that we find. We found a fairly cheap place to stay that rents you bicycles that you can use to get around. You have no idea how excited after living in this shithole for so long, how excited I am to go back, even for a series of days. Ahhhh.

Everything just decided to happen at the same time, and it's...whatever. Trying not to be a pessimist, Brandon started school today :]. I'm so happy for him, he's so excited. I know he'll do well. Kucinich was shut out of the New Hampshire debates (is anyone seeing a pattern here? First Iowa, then NH) but there was a rally outside where even supporters of OTHER Democratic candidates gathered and agreed that this is unfair treatment. When I was leaving Publix, I picked up my last paycheck. 16 dollars. I bought cheesecake for everyone and some junior mints for Brandon, and got myself a regular soda. I know I shouldn't and it's against my resolution, but I need it.

How is everyone doing? Having a good year?

So Brandon and I were taking down the tents in the back at his house in Punta Gorda, and I was using an axe, and I was throwing it down so it would stick in the ground and I hit my foot instead. Luckily it wasn't the sharp part, but it was still the metal part, and it hurt. The pain went down a bit and a few hours later it got pretty bad. The next day it was really bad, and I tried going into work but I only lasted 2 hours. I went home and rested, and the next day I went into the emergency room. They took xrays and found that it was sprained, and if I had put more pressure on it, I would have broken it. So now I have a cast and crutches *even though I'm using a walker instead of crutches because crutches are too brutal* and I have to stay off of it and out of work until ATLEAST Saturday. If it's not completely better on Saturday, I'm supposed to go in for a follow-up and keep staying off of it til it's completely healed.

Hoozah!

In very good news, I have an interview at Publix the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Aly I'll still be able to hang out, the interview shouldn't take too long, and that's at 10:00 Saturday morning.) If they hire me, it'll be to demo in the Bakery (which means I'd have a little stand with samples to offer to people) EEK. I'm so excited. And I get to work with Marta :]. I'm nervous, but I'm sure everything will go fine.

My aunt and uncle and my two little cousins are coming to visit for Thanksgiving. They get here on Monday and are leaving the day of my interview. It's kind of a mixed blessing, I love them all to death, but my aunt and uncle tend to disagree a lot, which gets a bit frustrating, and puts a bit of a damper on the holiday cheeriness, not to mention my aunt always finds some way of letting me know exercises I can do to get skinnier. /shrug. Whatever.

I have decided (officially now) that since I love both music and photography, I will always be in bands on the side, and I will start being serious about photography as I wish it to be my career. It's too good of an opportunity to pass up, and something is just telling me that I should do it.

And now, I'm going to sleep, because it's 4:06 A.M.

Goodnight!

So last night (being Monday) I was walking out to the garage to get a soda and I slammed into the metal thingy on the door, which ripped my arm open, huzzah. It didn't bleed much, but it sure is swollen. That was my left arm. I had a dr appt today, and they took blood, out of my right arm, which is now sore from that.

AWESOME.

I've decided, I think, that I'm going to wait a bit to get my tattoo. I'm still not completely sure exactly where I want it, or really want I want. I know the first one I want to get will be a Harry Potter one, but I have so many choices, I don't want to be rushed into making a decision and then regretting it. Hrmph.

Marta and I hung out today. I rode my bike (my grandma bought me a nice bike from the thrift store) and Marta roller bladed, but she fell and busted her chin open. We then proceeded to her house, where her mom cleaned it up and she got a bandaid and one for her hand too, then we walked back to my house and took some pictures. Plus we drank lemonade, and looked at apartments in Austin on Craigslist :]. Then my grandma drove her home (I went too!) and I came back and got on the computer for a bit til Brandon got home. Then we ate, played Everquest II for awhile, and now he's asleep and I'm about to go take a shower and go to bedddddd.

Hans is coming up to visit in the morning and I think we're going out for brunch. I'm very excited. I have a dr appointment around 3ish, and then I think we're meeting up with Chelsea somewhere sometime after 6:00.

Wednesday both Brandon and Marta work. Hrmph.
I have tons of crap to do, though, so I guess it's good.

We feel extremely fortunate to have spent such a deeply memorable and amazing part of our lives with each other. At this point, however, we feel it's best that our futures move forward on separate paths. We'd like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all the bands we've played with, individuals who have helped us make our records, and fans who have come to our shows and picked up our music throughout the years. Your friendship, support and love hold such a profoundly special place in each of our hearts. We hope that the memories you attach to our music are as fond as those you have given us. Thank you and take care, we'll miss all of you.

Love,
The Blood Brothers

So it's really true. After all this time. After all the amazing cds, after seeing one of the most amazing bands I will ever see live, twice. After all the years of loving this band, of playing drums because of the drumming, of listening to burn piano island over and over again. Of buying concert tickets and young machetes on the same day. All of this is over, because the blood brothers, are now gone.

My tattoo that I get next week, will be my Blood Brothers diamond flower tattoo. In memory.

Brandon and I went for a walk last night and it was so nice out. I love this cold weather, I wish it was like this forever. He doesn't work til 2 today, so we get some time to spend together which makes me happy. I think he works the rest of the week, though.

I've decided that for my first tattoo I want to get the bard symbol from Everquest, because I want to save my snitch tattoo for after I lose weight and get in shape as a 'reward' of sorts.

Today was a good day. I met up with Marta early and we hung out at the park for a bit, then I walked her to work and walked home. Cleaned up a bit, pulled some weeds in the yard, took some pictures, drank some soda. All that. Brandon had to work all day. Then he got home and we watched Disturbia, which was surprisingly much better than I was expecting. Now he's sleeping and tomorrow he has off XD.

And I think my first tattoo will be a harry potter one. i can't decided if I want the snitch with some words from the last book or not. Still figuring out.

Monday we hung out here during the day, HAD SPAGHETTI FOR DINNER, then went down to pick up some stuff from Punta Gorda and visit Brandon's family. It was lovely :]. Then we came back up and played video games and watched youtube videos, and today was wonderful.

We got up around 9:00 A.M. and had breakfast at Perkins with Brandon's dad because he was coming back down from the Tampa area. It was really good, it was nice to eat breakfast for once. He came over for a bit, and then he had to go. After that, Brandon, Marta, and I went to the tattoo parlor to see about her tattoo. The guy said he could do it, but she'd have to come back at 5. Then we went to Publix and got a bunch of crazy fattening snacks, and I got an entire loaf of french bread, which I am eating now. We then came back and had lunch, then dropped her off at home because she had a dr's appointment to go to. We took a nap and watched Braveheart, had dinner, then picked up her and Gabby to go back to the tattoo parlor. While we were there, Brandon decided to get a bass clef tattoo, so we watched both of them get their tattoos, which look awesome. We then came back home, talked about Austin and tattoos and wonderful magical things, and we just dropped Marta off at home.

Today. Was good :]
